PDF

Extracranial metastasis of glioblastoma is a rare phenomenon with an incidence of less than 2% and cutaneous metastasis are particularly rare. We report a case of a single cutaneous metastasis to the thigh in a 50 year old woman detected fourteen months after glioblastoma resection and treatment with adjuvant radiotherapy and concurrent chemotherapy with temozolamide and provide a brief review of the literature. To our knowledge, there are only 21 reports of this in the world literature including the current case since 1928.
