An anomalous hepatic vein connecting directly to the right atrial appendage is unexpected found in a case of superior sinus venous atrial septal defect. The distal part of the vein is obliterated with no blood flow return to the heart. As a result, we cut and ligated the obliterated anomalous hepatic vein without obviously related complications.
