After motor-vehicle accidents patients often present with injuries in many areas of the body, and with maxillofacial surgery as well. To plan the best treatment it is necessary to detect type and severity of such injuries. This article describes two cases of patients with maxillofacial fractures and traumatic thoracic aortic injury due to a car accident. Time and treatment of multiple trauma are discussed.
