Car­diac rup­ture due to ­blunt ­trauma is usu­ally ­fatal. We ­recently ­cared for a ­patient of ­atrial rup­ture ­without hemo­per­i­car­dium ­after MVA (­Motor ­Vehicle Acci­dent) ­which was suc­cess­fully ­repaired, and ­this expe­ri­ence ­prompted ­this ­report.
