A ­case of arter­i­ov­e­nous fis­tu­la ­between ­right com­mon ­iliac ­artery and ­left ­iliac ­vein ­after sciat­ic and femo­ral ­nerves ­block is report­ed. Clinical and instru­men­tal (radio­log­i­cal) pre­op­er­a­tive inves­ti­ga­tions did not ­show the ori­gin of the fis­tu­la ­which was ­found ­only dur­ing oper­a­tion in a dif­fer­ent ­site as pre­dict­ed by clin­i­cal and radio­log­i­cal pre­op­er­a­tive exam­ina­tions. Intraoperative find­ings and suc­cess­ful sur­gi­cal treat­ment are ­described.
