Mucosal malignant melanoma of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses is extremely rare. The treatment of choice in mucosal malignant melanoma is surgery followed by radiotherapy in cases of small or doubtful margins of resection. Prognosis is generally poor and unpredictable. We report clinical and histopathological features of a case in a 65 year-old female patient. The authors point out the difficult clinical diagnosis, as the symptoms are rather aspecific.
