Basaloid-squamous carcinoma is a highly aggressive variant of squamous cell carcinoma occurring in the hypopharynx, larynx and base of the tongue. We report a unique case involving the nasal cavity of a patient with a history of radiation therapy for soft palate carcinoma, raising the possibility that basaloid-squamous carcinoma can be radiation-induced.
