A case of Proteus syndrome with otolaryngologic interest is presented. The clinical diagnosis was obtained after a verification of polymorphic malformations which involved various structures of the body: skin, skeleton, skull, upper and lower limbs. The presence of an abnormal growth of the paranasal cavities required a surgical approach for osteoplastic remodelling of the anterior wall of the frontal sinus. The pathological lesions were localized in the bone tissue of the sinusal walls; the mucous membrane of the paranasal sinuses and the sinusal ventilation appeared normal.
