The imaginary baby and the real baby. The role of ultrasound

The importance of ultrasound in pregnancy is analysed. The authors try to verify whether the ultrasound comparison with the imaginary baby can change the attitude of parents toward the newborn and underline the importance of the doctor to interact with the parents during the examination.
