Surgical correction of the talipes equinovarus: clinical, radiographic and instrumental valutation post long term of the results

Aim. The work report an experience on the surgical treatment of the talipes equinova-rus. Report the surgical technique, the cli-nical, radiographic and instrumental situation of the patients after follow up of 5 years and 3 months. Objective consists in to restore and to appraise the resulted clinicians obtained.
Methods. It was lead a retrospective study on affected patients from talipes equinovarus operated during the period 1992-2002.
Results. The fact that feet of equal gravity, deals to you with the same protocol and operates to you from a same surgeon, can go encounter to a various destiny can make to assume that the talipes equinovarus idiopathic is the symptom of one more complex syndrome.
Conclusion. The lead analysis suggests the existence of eventual aetiological muscular or nervous factors that can condition in some way pathology. The talipes equinovarus, therefore, would seem to constitute the symptom of one more complex syndrome.
