Osteochondritis dissecans (OCD) is a common condition in adolescents. The description of OCD with osteochondral fractures and epiphyseal ossification disorders as a unique pathological entity, has brought sometimes a certain confusion. The aim of this paper is to describe OCD and report a case of OCD of the patella.
