The Authors have analysed the historical period between 1900 and 1925, WHEN three of the most important Italian scholars of the Legal Medicine field, Francesco Folli, Attilio Ascarelli and Orazio Modica, have worked at the University of Macerata. Aim of this work has been the analysis of the influence of their accademic and scientific contribution in Forensic Science.
