Rehabilitation techniques: a synoptic overview for use in legal medicine

Solero M.

Corso di Laurea in Fisioterapia, Università di Torino, Torino, Italia

PDF

Though perhaps unusual in the context of treatises on legal medicine, this synoptic overview draws together the main features of the vast variety of techniques commonly used in physical rehabilitation. The material is presented taking account of the goals of rehabilitation. Since the choices the therapist operates during treatment ultimately translate into a claim for reimbursement of expenses, the legal physician and the insurance adjuster will need to have an accurate idea of what exactly the claim entails.
