Social insurances and breast cancer. Proposal of an evaluation procedure

Del Gaudio V., Tessarin C., Cochis M. L., Mascaro V.

PDF

A new valuation procedure of the breast cancer in the field of Social Insurances is suggested.
After a review of the legal aspect regulating the 3 types of social defence, and an examination of the relevant valuation criteria to determine validity damage due to neoplasms, the concepts of ethics invalidity and prognostic factors are discussed.
In detail, on the basis of the knowledge in the field of breast cancer prognostic factors, and of a retrospective analysis of data from subjects examined at the national insurance service (INPS) in Biella, a group of particularly indicative prognostic factors has been found.
Finally, a proposal of valuation procedure is presented.
