Constant's functional score as scoring system for the shoulder joint function in legal medicine

As the legal medicine practitioner is often called on, in his everyday activity, to express an opinion on shoulder function which is not always straightforward, this article considers the possibility of applying a scoring system such as Constant's functional score as the most reliable in appraisal activity. The factors that this system considers are well suited to a personalised assessment, while limiting to the utmost every possibility of partisan interpretation of the facts.
