Recent technological improvements such as spiral CT, CPMR, PET-CT, US and MRI specific contrast agents have increased the accuracy of non-invasive exams performed by radiologists. At present, CT is the method of choice for the diagnosis, staging and therapeutic planning of pancreatic tumors for which a multidisciplinary approach is however mandatory.
