The DNA molecules are deposited and stretched on the APS modified surface of the mica using several methods which are blowing method, centrifugal method, free-fluid method, dragging method and spreading method. The stretched DNA molecules on the surface of the APS-mica are characterized by Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). According to the AFM results, these methods are discussed and compared when employed in stretching DNA molecules.
