Aim and methods. The study included children aged between 7-8 years (N.=52) who, according to their state of health, were included in the main medical group. By means of taxonomic analysis children were divided into four groups, with different levels of development of conditional motor skills and physical performance.
Results and conclusion. The comparison of the reactivity of the central nervous system during intellectual, motor and physical exercise in the different groups has shown that its value, to a large extent, is determined by the level of the development of aerobic ability. In this regard, the possibility of the use of aerobic training to optimize the functional condition of children during the intense intellectual exercise is discussed. The results are the manifestation of a positive cross-adaptation phenomenon.
