Carcinosarcoma of the breast is a rare tumor composed of two distinct cell lines, with a dominant mesenchymal component and an epithelial component. Clinically, in most cases, the tumor presents as a painless, mobile, rapidly growing, diffuse mass that is difficult to diagnose. Its behavior is aggressive and its clinical and surgical treatment is challenging. The objective of this report was to describe and discuss the case of a young patient with a carcinosarcoma of the breast with axillary involvement and tumor recurrence shortly after surgery. The patient died a few months later.
