The authors review the case of a 55-year-old man with trigeminal neuralgia, resulting from an epidermoid tumour, which was successfully treated percutaneously via mechanical rhizolysis. This is a rare cause of trigeminal neuralgia, highlighting the importance of imaging patients to exclude less common causes of trigeminal neuralgia.
