AIM:Our study is intended as a final goal, to find a universally acceptable and effective surgical management to treat postpartum hemorrhage.
METHODS: Our study is based on clinical cases discussed. The number of treated patients is 6 primigravide, surgical technique involves the application, at the ring of Bandle, three sutures full thickness at about 1.5 cm from the lateral surface of the uterus.
RESULTS:In all the patients treated in the first 3 days of lochiazione puerperium was physiological and not bleeding occurred in the days following. Then there was a resumption of the menstrual cycle in physiological age. In addition, two of these patients subsequently had other pregnancies ended in spontaneous delivery.
CONCLUSION: Our technique was found easy to perform and undoubted effectiveness in all the patients treated, being the most suitable to resolve the emergency and ensure the future integrity of the procreative function of the patient using a technique totally conservative.
