This work is based on a review of scientific literature on an anatomical vascular abnormality called, since the first clinical findings and autopsy, the Corona Mortis. In the works considered the frequency of this anomaly, the effects on clinical and therapeutical plan in case of anastomotic lesion of this circle (the circle that connects the external iliac artery with the tax internal iliac artery), resulting in a hemorrhage that, if not stopped quickly, could be fatal for the patient, have been assessed. Finally the authors discus their experience and clinical management in case of bleeding wound for anastomosis of this circle in obstetric surgery.
