The properties of the cytidylyl cyclase was studied. Studies in this laboratory demonstrated cytidylyl cyclase to be distributed in each tissue of mouse and rat examined with the major subcellular site in fraction containing lysosomes, mitochondria and microsomes. To further study cytidylyl cyclase enzyme a stepwise centrifugation was used to yield subcellular fractions is described here.
