Risks and possibilities of hypnotherapy in schizophrenic psychosis

Hypnosis is usually considered a dangerous therapy, sometimes contraindicated, in the treatment of schizophrenic patients. Undoubte-dly there are situations where this technique must be used with a special attention and caution. Hypnosis is an useful and effective tool in adequately selected cases and using appropriate techniques. Here are examined some risks situations and adequate ways to employ during the treatment of shizophrenic patient.
