Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease is a rare benign pathology with still unknown etiology, described for the first time in Japan in 1972 and now recognized by the official medicine. A typical symptom of Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease is a swelling of the neck lymph gland/nodes and temperature. Histologic findings show a necrotizing aspect and the course of the illness is spontaneously benign in a few months. Three clinical cases observed from 1996 to 2000 are described.
