Many studies have shown that childhood atopic dermatitis (AD) has an impact not only on the quality of life of the young patient, but even on that of his/her family. This research was designed to evaluate the impact of the child’s AD on the physical and psychological stress and on the partnership agreement of the parent-caregiver. Four questionnaires were administered to 60 parents-caregivers of children with AD, two questionnaires to 60 parents-caregivers of healthy children. Results match with the scientific literature and there have been new results on the impact of the DA on the parent-caregiver of the affected child.
