Nodular localized primary cutaneous amyloidosis (NLPCA) is a rare form of cutaneous amyloidosis. Lesions can appear anywhere in skin and strictly resemble those seen in systemic amyloidoses. Thus a complete and careful clinical and histopathological work-out is requested for a correct diagnosis. We report a case of NLPCA and a review of literature together with main differential diagnosis problems.
