Histopathologic findings of two cases of granular cell dermatofibroma are described. The histopathologic diagnosis of dermatofibroma was confirmed by immunohistochemical findings. Cellular granularity is the result of cytoplasmic accumulation of lysosomyal structures and can be observed not only in conventional granular cell tumor but in a variety of benign and malignant cutaneous neoplasms. Granular cell dermatofibroma is an uncommon variant of dermatofibroma that can be included in the spectrum of benign fibrohistiocytic proliferations.
