A 30-year-old patient developed multiple superficial basal cell carcinomas in the same body areas submitted to cobalt therapy 15 years before for Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Skin tumors following cobalt therapy in the treatment of malignant disease are rarely described in the literature. Both cobalt therapy and X-Ray are still largely used in the treatment of Hodgkin’s lymphoma, medulloblastoma, acute lymphoblastic leukemia, Ewing sarcoma and Wilms tumor in childood. It is advisable that longterm surviving children should undergo regular follow-ups.
