Pseudoaneurysm of the right inferior thyroid artery as a complication of internal jugular vein cannulation is described. The patient who underwent cardiac surgery developed a pseudoaneurysm two weeks after mechanical aortic valve replacement. Percutaneous embolization with bovine thrombin injection was performed. The procedure was repeated six times due to recurrent aneurysm sac recanalization. The total thrombin dose was 320 IU. The patient remains uneventful.
