PDF

The authors present a case of a giant non functioning carcinoma of the adrenal cortex. This kind of carcinoma ranging the size of 18x14x8 cm. is very rare. The A.C. is associated with some genetic syndromes like Li-Fraumeni, and Wedemann-Bachwith. The differential diagnosis of the giant non functioning masses should be done with retroperitoneal tumors and renal tumors. Surgery is the main treatment and the approaches are discussed. Chemiotherapy is possible but the prognosis is very poor.
