Paracoccidioidomycosis is a inflammatory disease caused by Paracoccidioides brasiliensis, which is a fungus with endemic features in southern Brazil. The authors reviewed the literature about the disease, considering aetiology, clinical features, diagnostic tools and treatment. An unusual presentation in a female patient with pulmonary, dermatological and oral lesions is presented.
