After a retrospective study on 51 cases of tenosynovial giant cell tumour (TGCT) treated with radical excision during a period of 51 months, we start a detailed follow-up 42 patients. They underwent regular postoperative controls to notice the surgery results and to make early diagnosis of the possible recurrence of disease. Radical excision is the only way to have a complete recovery from disease. Early diagnosis of recurrence is possible with accurate clinic examination, supported by sonography control and/or magnetic resonance imaging control.
