Vadalà G., Milintenda L., Azzaro P., Evola G., Sangani G., Bonanno F., Vadalà S.
Migration of meshes, used in the repair of incisional hernias, is a rare cause of intestinal obstruction. Two patients, afflicted with mechanical intestinal obstruction, were treated with surgery. Recapture of intestinal transit with disappearance of symptomatology after removal of meshes. In the treatment of incisional hernias, wire meshes don't be used while prosthetic meshes have reduced complications with excellent results.
