Agaoglu N.

PDF

Association of thyrotoxicosis with thyroid cancer is very rare. A case of papillary thyroid carcinoma detected incidentally in a patient undergoing subtotal thyroidectomy for toxic nodular goiter is presented. Subsequently, the patient underwent a total thyroidectomy to excise the remnant of the thyroid tissue and further was treated by hormonal replacement therapy with thyroxine.
