Atypical perforation of colic diverticulosis

In this study, the authors report a clinical case of multifocal pericolic gas bubbles as a complication of diverticular abscesses in a patient affected by diverticular disease. After a review of the international literature, the authors point out the clinical and morphological features of this rare complication.
