PDF

Stromal tumors of the small intestine are not common neoplastic disease and usually present with bleeding. We report a case of this tumor presented with sign and symptoms of generalized peritonitis due to perforation of the small intestine at the site of the lesion. The patient failed to recover from the septic shock in spite of surgical intervention and supportive cardiovascular and respiratory measures.
