Fabozzi M., Danzi M., Di Lascio P., Cirillo P., Berni Canani R.

PDF

Familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP) may be associated with extracolonic tumors, including phaeochromocytoma. A new case of phaeochromocytoma in a young patient affected by FAP is reported. Alterations of the adenomatous polyposis coli (APC) gene responsible for FAP may play a role in the development of these tumors.
