Tuberculosis of the large intestine. Case report and report of the literature

Tuberculosis of the alimentary tract is most of the time a consequence of tuberculosis of the lung. It very rarely occurs primarily in the digestive system. A case with a tubercular lesion developed in the small and large bowel without evidence of the disease in the lung is described. The differential diagnosis was difficult and was treated by right hemicolectomy the complication of the disease (intestinal stenosis).
