The extra cranial part of the Facial nerve, VII pair of cranial nerves, goes through major anatomical districts: parotid, temporal, masseter, chick region. Considering benign and malignant cutaneous malignancies, every specific district has an intrinsic reason of study from an anatomical and phatological point of view. We intend to expose our experience in the treatment of glandular and cutaneous malignancies in the parotid region from 1995 till 2001 at the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the University of Tor Vergata. We intend to analyze problems related to conservative surgery of Facial nerve and preserving his anatomic course.
