Authors report a case of dento-alveolar rehabilitation by means of vertical distraction osteogenesis, in a 62-year-old male patient suffering from anterior mandibular defect due to a previous tumour resection of the oral cavity. A new vertical distraction device was used. The bone was elevated by about 11.0 mm. Implant insertion and soft tissue management was successfully performed. Dental rehabilitation was obtained by means of an implant-supported prosthesis.
