An ­acute spon­ta­ne­ous rup­ture of an aor­tic dis­sec­tion orig­i­nat­ing in ­and lim­it­ed to ­the infra­ren­al aor­ta asso­ciat­ed ­with an infra­ren­al aor­tic aneu­rysm is report­ed. The diag­no­sis ­was ­made by ultra­so­nog­ra­phy ­and com­put­ed tomog­ra­phy ­and ­was con­firmed intra­op­er­a­tive­ly fol­lowed by a suc­cess­ful ­graft inser­tion.
