Advanced dressings: a resource for limb salvage

The reported cases intend to explain how it is possible to save a limb, which is seriously damaged, using wound care techniques, especially when the patient who is about to be treated cannot face interventions of a greater reconstructive surgery. In these cases, wound care could be an additional resource in limb salvage.
