Tissue engineering is today a new kind of approach to the patient with chronic skin lesions. The use of dermal templates allows to get a clean, granulating and viable wound bed. In this work we collected data, from January 2004 to June 2005, about inpatients of Operative Unit of Vulnology of the San Luca Clinic in Pecetto Torinese, treated with implant of dermal templates. The results achieved about granulating promotion and pain control show a real effectiveness of this treatment.
