This article talks about the tissue repair for scars with reference to its pathologic evolution, mainly for the formation of a hypertrophic scar or keloid. The main treatment which are chosen in such cases are also described: including the possibility of substituting the whole of the pathologic scar with autologous cultivated tissues.
